| Today I sit. I sit in this chair. Im sick... blaachhk. yes, I put a k on the end of that, I feel like doing all kinds of sorts lately. Ive been busy busy busy. "You spin me right round baby, right round.." I heard that song on the radio today and it made me feel like my head is going to spin out of control.. that Im not not exactly sure whats keeping it on anymore. I dont even have time to think about it. But yet I have time for you xanga. My grandma died a week ago on Thursday at 5:30 am. I havent been able to think straight since. Between work/school/ other work and being sick it just hasnt sunk in. I will miss her and yes, it breaks my heart that she wont be there on the one only day she talked about non-stop.. but life goes. She is much happier where she is and that is the only thing keeping my head above water.
I told myself I would have any rhyme or reason to this entry but it is so hard me not to just spill my guts to you xanga.
I met my new niece Emma Jane last week. It was so nice to hold her in my arms... she is so beautiful and just a doll. She is tiny tiny tiny. I cant wait to see my brother, mickey and emma again in June. June cant come quick enough. Summer is almost here.. I can feel it. I can smell it. I can hear it.

| Im dog sitting this week for my mom she went down to florida to visit my brother and my new little niece. Emma Jane Elkins. She was born on November 18th almost a month early!! She is absolutely beautiful!! The prettiest baby girl I have ever seen! Although being born about a month early she was still born perfectly healthy.. which is SO great! So, my mom is down there visiting them and I have Sadie. Ive missed her so much.. My parents got Sadie when I was only 5 years old and I am now 20.. you do the math. She is very old but I still think of her as a puppy, she is still SO tiny and in VERY good spirits! I think she likes staying with me, we were like bff when we were little. She always used to come with my mom to pick me up from school and all my friends LOVED her! I am not looking forward to when she has to leave this world... SAD DAY!
Michael and I have been doing really good! We cant wait to be married!! Only 194 more days! WOO! Ive been on a bit of a break from planning a wedding... It can get a bit overwhelming at times. Plus its REALLY overrated! I guess that every little girl "dreams" of that day and Im not gunna lie, Its not like I didnt think about it.. its just that when it comes down to it.. well.. its just overrated. I just wanna be married and go to Disney World! WOO! The only thing I guess that I may have a problem with is my change of identity.. after June 27th 2009 I will no longer be an Elkins... weird. After that day I will then go by Haley Hogoboom. WHOA! Dont get me wrong, I wanna take Michaels last name, Im not one who would ever even conisder keeping my maiden name, or hyphenating it or anything, its just gunna be hard to get used to! Its def another one of those things that you always dream about when growing up.. you know, Im sure you all have had that guy or boyfriend or even just crush in middle school or whatever and you always just kind of tag there last name to yours.. well that is REALLY happening now.. its just not for fun anymore, its REALLLLLLY happening! So cool, Im so excited to get married for SOOOO many reasons!! Speaking of weddings and such, I got a second job at Davids Bridal! As if Im not sick enough of weddings??? tee hee. I think it will be good tho, Michael and I really need the money and he has a second job so why cant I get one?? Its just a few week nights and weekends. Michael and I def wont have alot of US time but it'll be good. I love him, alot!

I have a new roommate! Im sure alot of you might remember her. Her name is Emily Bear. For those of you who dont know who Emily, or as like to call her.. Emma is we were best friends all through high school until we had a little bit of a falling out our Senior year. We hadnt talked, well until just recently for about 3 years! We just started hangin out again about a month ago and she wanted to move to kzoo and start goin back to school in January and needed a place to stay and had an extra room so I thought, well.. why not?? Its been really good! We kind of have our own schedules and do our own thing but its nice to have someone around when michael is at work and just have someone to just chill with at home!

| Soooooooo..... Things are going really well for me these days. Im going back to school more, so that can be fun at times. Its nice to be able to do something with michael instead of feeling like we lead different lives but bring them together at the end of everyday... after his second job and after my night classes. Now, we are sometimes able to even carpool to school together, how exciting! I know you are all dying to know how the wedding plans are going????? Probably not. I guess I can share anyways, for those weird folk out there. We're getting married and having our reception at The Riviera Theatre in Three Rivers on June 27th 2009. Were going with an elegant evening type of event, Im quite excited.. I think itll be loads of fun! We are having a live band called Funktion play at our reception. They play covers from old funk bands... like Brick House. I feel like this entry really isnt all that interesting.. Im sorry if Ive let you down you fellow subscribers!! :oS
Im going to Cincinnati this weekend. Michael and I are leaving tomorrow night at 11:00pm, when he gets out of work. Pretty crazy, huh???? We wanna be there all day on Friday. Were going to go to the aquarium on Friday, trick-or-treating on Friday night, ezra is going as an owl... how cute!, Saturday my sister and I are having a GIRL DAY!!!! WOOO!!!! Well, maybe not all day, but my Michael and Mandis Michael are going to a poker tournament on Saturday night and so were gunna eat popcorn, watch movies and just have sister time, yay!!! I cant wait. We will probably go to church on Saturday night to, which Im also excited about.
I want a dog. I really want a dog. Michael wants to get a Boxer, they are cute... I want a small dog. Im not aloud to have dogs where I live tho.. boohoo.

| So, big things are going on in my life right now. big, HUGE! ok, nothing. Thoughts of big things linger but nothing is final.
Im taking summer classes, that Im thoroughly enjoying. Working the same ole job. My sister was in town with Ezra for a little over a week. We all flew down to Florida to see my brother for the holiday. While we were there we found out that my sister-in-law is expecting a baby, we are quite excited!! Thats big news I guess!
Michael and I are doing well, when we get to see each other. Between our jobs and my schooling it doesnt seem like its very often these days. Im thinking about picking up a second job in the fall, waitressing or something. Just like two nights a week and maybe one weekend night or something. My hours will probably be cut at my current job, due to a possible sale of one our properties and although I will still be in school Im only taking 5 credits. I will be done with work/school around 3 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.. I think waitressing could be my thing. Im a people person, the tips would rock! Anybody know of a popular restaurant thats hiring???
We got new fish! Two of them have already died tho.. sad day. Their names are Ethel, Mickey, Salt, Pepper. Lucy and Minnie died.. Heart Wrenching, I know! Well, I think this is a pretty sufficient update. Let me know if you need more.. I could probably come up with something! | | |
